Dr. Ong is a 1982 graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry. A San Francisco native,  he enjoys working with kids in childrens' vision care and contact lenses, CRT overnight CLs.  Dr. Ong also provides care for laser refractive patients. As President of the California Vision Foundation, Dr. Ong helps the needy receive eyecare and spectacles. With Infantsee program Dr Ong provides eye exams for babies.  He is a past- President for the Bay Area Optometric Council, a past President for the Santa Clara County Optometric Society, and a past President for Sunnyvale Community Services. He has been on the board of directors for Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Leadership Sunnyvale, City of Sunnyvale Parking District, Sunnyvale Community Services, Santa Clara Optometric Society. Dr Ong  additionally helps the LIONS, giving needy school children vision care.  In his "free time" Dr Ong enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with his nieces and god-kids.  He also likes trying new restaurants and recipes.  He can swap recipes and info on places to eat with you!
