Dr. Jennifer Hsieh (pronounced "shay") or 謝眼科醫生 is a graduate of the U.C. Berkeley, School of Optometry. After graduating with honors, she finished a one year residency program there, where she received additional training in specialty contact lenses (overnight CRT fitting for controlling nearsightedness, bifocal/multifical contact lenses), laser surgery consultations (LASIK/PRK), low vision, ocular diseases and primary care. She is also certified for treating glaucoma. She is passionate about performing low vision examinations for patients with impaired vision and assessing their need for different low vision devices to help them staying in the workforce and maintaining independence. She loves her profession and looks forward to providing the best eye care in a friendly and personalized manner for all her patients. During her free time, she enjoys cooking and trying out new restaurants.


Dr. Hsieh received her Fellowship through the American Academy of Optometry (F.A.A.O.), which is considered one of the highest standards for optometric professional competence. She is also currently serving as the Board of Trustee for Public Relations for Santa Clara County Optometric Society (SCCOS).
